Take a seat, get informed and have a laugh as we present late for changeover. No, I don’t want to redo it because we’re not bringing you any headlines. In fact, that excuse was used by one of my teammates the other day.

All right. Today, we’re going to try something new. We’re going to try a movie reaction video.

All right. Well, then I’ll tell you, it was the Space Shuttle Challenger. Thirty nine years ago today.
You’re such a downer. Challenger was the one that blew up right off the pad, right? Columbia was the one that burned in as it was re-entering, right? Yeah. Challenger was 73 seconds after launch.
Yeah. God, that was with Krista McAuliffe, first teacher. Yep, yep.
OK, so this is kind of back to midship. So this is movies on midship. Because you watch the worst movies on midship and you don’t care because you know it’s going to kill another hour and a half of your ship.
It was the only thing available, man. It’s the only thing available. So I chose for our foray into this Iron Eagle, the Air Force cause celebrate, right? So what was the last time you saw it? I don’t think I’ve seen it this century.
Right. Oh, me either. It’s been a while.
Yeah. Iron Eagle came out in 86. Same year as Taka.
So. It’s King Uriman in the Air Force, man. It’s King Uriman.
According to Wikipedia, the film’s working title was Junior Eagle. You could have been Junior Eagle, Jake. Yeah.
You will see F-16s obviously featured in this movie. But the United States Air Force had a long standing policy about not cooperating on any film involving the theft of an aircraft. So the filmmakers turned to Israeli Air Force for the necessary aerial sequences.
I’ll be that’s why when you see the F-16s are going to have that brown camo, right? Desert. Does the Army have that same policy regarding theft of a Humvee? I don’t know. It seems to be a recurring theme out in California.
The last one, they lost three. Wow. And one of them was armored sighted.
So I don’t know how you can’t find them. I really don’t. It’s not like… They’re camouflage, Marty.

It’s efficient. It’s like normal traffic. Of course, with all the fires out there, maybe these garages burn down.
They’re just like a fleet of Humvees. A fleet of Humvees. Oh, shit.

The aircraft used in this movie were single seat F-16As, F-16Bs, and F-21 Israeli Kefirs, which simulated the MiG-23s. And that’s an ugly plane, I think. So I also want a bonus on this movie, right? So we get the Air Force, which we’re all part of.
We get lots and lots and lots of security forces, surprisingly enough. Oh, yeah. Nice.
Not the most efficient security forces, but there’s a bunch of them in there, right? I mean, you did kind of ruin a major plot point of theft of an aircraft. Well, if we’re ruining the movie for you, like, I wonder if Ana had ever seen this. I was going to ask her that, but I didn’t know she was going to see it.

Were the slowest missiles just launched at them? I don’t think those missiles those missiles were just waved off. They just dodged them. They can dodge a lot of.
